Hire Charges

For members £60 plus deposit
For non-members £75 plus deposit

The hire fee includes the cost of bar staff and cleaning.

A £100 deposit must be paid on completion of the application form and a minimum of seven days prior to the event.  If the hire goes ahead as planned this will be kept as a security deposit and returned to you less the hire charge after the event has taken place, provided that no additional cost for damages or clean up are incurred. 

Conditions of Hire

Farsley Cricket Club is a private members club.  The Management Committee of the club have the absolute discretion to accept or reject any application for the use of the club premises.

1.  Confirmation of the booking must be made within 14 days, failing which the Management Committee reserves the right to re-let the room for hire.  In order to confirm your booking a completed application form be returned to Farsley Cricket Club.

2.  Room bookings and deposit of £100 are required seven days prior to the date of hire.  The deposit will be set against any damages incurred as a result of the use of premises by the hirer or the guests of the hirer, and shall be forfeited in whole or part thereof should damage occur.  Should the cost of damages exceed the value of the security deposit the hirer will be billed accordingly. 

3.  The Management Committee accept no responsibility for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond their control.

4.  The named hirer must remain on the premises until the function ends.

5.  All finishing times, as agreed at time of submitting the booking form, are final.

6.  One hour staff clearing up time is included in the hire fee.  In the event that a function requires staff to remain longer than the allotted hour the hirer will be charged an additional fee to cover staff overtime.

7.  The hiring of Farsley Cricket Club for 18th birthday parties is done so at the discretion of the Management Committee.  If hired for this purpose we require that parents are present whilst the function takes place.  The security deposit for 18th birthday parties will be £150, returned to you less the hire charge after the event has taken place provided no additional costs for damage or clean up have been incurred.

8.  Hirers should be aware that bar staff will ask for ID if they are in doubt as to a person’s age.  The only ID that would be accepted is Proof of Age card, passport or drivers license.
